I am trying to upload a netgear switch configuration file to a new netgear switch I am going to install in our Data Center. I can upload the configuration archive image 1 and image 2 files to a local PC and when I try to download them to the new Netgear switch the configurations do not stick.
VLANs that I have configured for the original switch are not kicking over to the new switch's configurations. I don't know much about Netgear switches specifically but my first suggestion is going to be to make sure the firmware versions are the same. I will rollback to the same firmware as our production switch. Tried downloading the image 1 and image 2 to the new switch but configurations still not sticking. The issue is probably that the switches are different models but there could be another explanation.
